Task: The client’s initial objective was to create B2B content like blog posts, white papers, and social media content that promoted life in America to potential investors and to help better represent the team. After delivering on those objectives, the company’s needs shifted from copywriting to strategy. They needed a better-defined brand voice, improved visibility, and more cohesive messaging across different marketing formats. 

Expertise: In addition to helping create a style guide and define brand voice through experimenting with social media and online materials, I helped hone brand voice by working across departments with marketing, graphics, and the C-suite. 

I helped create new web page copy, audited the website’s marketing assets and its online presence, and developed an upgrade plan, which included website redesign, SEO/GEO incorporation, improved social media and content strategy, updated content materials, and more. I

In addition, I facilitated market research for investor presentations and put together investor brochures, in collaboration with the graphics department, to further accentuate the firm’s identity. 


The result: A much more defined voice, strong content pillars with plenty of relevant content clusters, an updated and more mobile-friendly UX design, and improved search ranking.
