Hi there! I’m a New York-based journalist who loves writing and reporting on politics, immigration, lifestyle, and more.
Originally from the Republic of Georgia, I moved to New York in 2015 to attend NYU. After graduating with degrees in political science and journalism, I interned at Bustle Digital Media, where I honed my journalistic skills and learned the basics of SEO writing. Soon after my internship, Covid-19 shut down the world and the job field. But instead of idling, I co-started an online publication, The Interlude, which aimed to create work for young journalists when there was none. I gained invaluable editorial experience, learned how to run a team, landed scoops, live fact-checked the 2020 presidential and vice presidential debates, as well as the elections, oversaw the creation of themed packages, and built and ran business social media profiles.
I put all of those skills to use in my freelancing career working with corporate clients to write blog posts, website content, social media, and even marketing strategy. I love looking at companies I work with as a whole and creating online or social media content based on my analysis.
